Seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an exciting contract. We are a technology solutions company offering talent acquisition, outsourced solutions and management consulting for businesses. In this role you document requirements, conduct UAT and manage other activities. Qualified candidates we possess Business Analyst experience and skills.
Business Systems Analyst
Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst will work with our Business Partners to elicit and document requirements, act as liaison in translating requirements to developers and quality analysts, conduct UAT and manage all other activities complete the project tasks and Jira work assigned
Business Systems Analyst Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes, identifies and writes detailed description of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
- Makes recommendations for business process improvements with a thorough understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the technology needs.
- Prepares analysis for production support of systems and applications and associated documentation.
- Acts as a liaison between business and IT. Develops and maintains knowledge of customer's business.
- Creates and tests ad hoc reports.
- Leads small to moderately complex projects.
- Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
- Assists with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
- Exhibits strong business knowledge and builds strong customer relationships.
- Familiar with SQL data queries for data validation with business systems.
- Documents end user requirements for data, reports and analyses, training, data quality and performance.
- Strong knowledge of business information data sources and business data rules.
- Conducts UAT and user training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Specific technical knowledge and experience required:
- SQL, T-SQL and any previous development experience a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of prior experience as Business Analyst
